George created the company in 2014 to provide high-quality tuxedo and suit rentals, competitively priced, and in the most convenient way possible -- shipped directly to your door. Generation Tux is a growth-stage startup, and we need your help taking our growth to the next level.

Generation Tux is currently looking for a motivated self-starter to lead and manage a production team at the Louisville Distribution Center (DC). The primary objective of this position is to monitor and continuously improve the operational efficiency of an assigned production team to hit hourly and daily goals.

• Ownership of production process and support staff (as directed by the Warehouse Manager) as related to an assigned team(s)
• Provide a single point of leadership and direction in one or more of the following domains as assigned: breakdown, laundry, picking, tailoring, packing, and/or shipping
• Collaborate with Warehouse Manager(s) to implement directives and best practices to optimize team workflow and production techniques to hit production targets
• Evaluate, continuously improve, support, and elevate personnel to ensure each team member is given the opportunity for success
• Establish and maintain high standards of quality and consistency
• Measure and direct operational performance and accountability using available data and KPIs

Requirements

• Proven leadership or management experience in a fast-paced environment
• 2 years of warehouse operations experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience in logistics and fulfillment
• Experience leading and managing a small production team
• Demonstrated experience driving a process or small team toward a goal
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be an inspirational, motivational leader
• A proven track record of developing talent to go from good to great
• Intellectual curiosity
• Technology and web savvy
