JOB TITLE: Credit Analyst
DEPARTMENT: Finance
LOCATION: Augusta, GA or Johnson City TN

General Shale Brick, Inc., a leading manufacturer of brick and masonry products is seeking a Credit Analyst to work at our facility in Augusta, GA or Johnson City, TN
- Credit investigation of new applications.
- Collection of customer accounts.
- Settlement of payment discrepancies.
- Filing of liens and credit reporting.
- Facilitate resolution of customer complaints and billing issues.
- Review orders for shipment based on account status.
- Adhere to approved credit limits and payment terms.
- Update and maintain credit files and credit limits.
- File notices on jobs as needed.
- Work with outside collection agencies as needed.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related curriculum, preferred.
- 5-10 years collections/credit experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and PC skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Proficiency with SAP, and customer service experience highly desirable.
JOB INFORMATION:
40-hour workweek with additional hours in the evening and/or weekends may be required when project timelines dictate.

Experience
Required- 5 - 10 years: Customer Service
- 2 - 5 years: SAP Experience
- 2 - 5 years: Proficient in the Microsoft Suite Software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- 5 - 10 years: Collections/Credit Experience
Education
Required- Associates or better in Finance or related field
- Associates or better in Accounting or related field
