Industrial Maintenance Technician I

This position offers a valuable opportunity for individuals seeking entry to mid-level roles in industrial maintenance. It serves as a stepping stone for those eager to learn and grow in this field, with off-site career training available for promising candidates.

  • Work within our preventative maintenance system to ensure equipment is effectively maintained and documented with weekly, monthly, and quarterly PMs
  • Uphold Company Safety Guidelines across all operational areas.
  • Undertake general factory maintenance duties to support overall facility operations.
  • Confidently tear down and reassemble machines with precision and care.
  • Install, maintain, and repair a variety of machine tools essential for production.
  • Diagnose issues, determine necessary repairs, and reassemble intricate mechanisms to restore functionality.
  • Engage in approved courses covering a range of maintenance repair topics, including electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining, and welding.
  • Work on weekly preventative maintenance tasks such as greasing and cleaning, collaborating with experienced team members to further your understanding of industrial maintenance and systems.
  • Adapt to a dynamic work environment that may include exposure to heat, noise, dust, and dirt, while meeting physical demands such as standing, walking, heavy lifting, climbing, crawling, crouching, bending, squatting, and kneeling as needed.
  • Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm. Intermittent after-hours or weekend schedules if a special project arises that can't affect production.
  • Receive competitive compensation ranging from $18 to $20.00 per hour.
  • Full-Time and Part-Time positions available

The Ideal Candidate will have an eagerness to learn about:

  • Mechanical systems, including chains, sprockets, motors, belts, bearings, shafts, gear boxes, and conveyors.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems, covering cylinders, valves, pumps, solenoids, brake systems, compressor systems, and plumbing.
  • Electrical systems, encompassing starters, fuses, contacts, relays, frequency drives, PLC’s, reading schematics, running conduit, pulling and landing wire, 480-24V circuitry, lighting, and transformers.
  • Stick welding and powered hand tools operation.
  • Forklifts and lifting equipment operation.
  • Fabrication of new parts and repair of damaged parts as needed.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, self-starting qualities, and exceptional ability to follow instructions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
