General Dental Office is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Dundalk, MD

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help to ensure a smooth patient experience. Must be reliable, hardworking, dedicated and a team player

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Take dental x-rays
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records

- Order dental supplies and manage the inventory

- Keep track of all dental lab cases

Skills:
- Experience with medical documentation and maintaining accurate records
- Knowledge of general dental care is a plus
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is beneficial
- Educating patients with treatment
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques
- Knowledge of dental coding practices
- Proficiency in dental records system management
- Ability to assist the dentist efficiently during procedures

- Clinical notes management

- Ability to work at a fast pace

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • No weekends

Ability to Relocate:

  • Dundalk, MD 21222: Relocate before starting work (Required)
