We are looking for a Board Certified Orthodontist 2X/month on Fridays. We see patients from 9am-6pm w/ 1hr lunch break

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontist to join our team. As an Orthodontist, you will provide specialized dental care to patients, focusing on the alignment and correction of teeth and jaws. Your expertise and attention to detail will help create beautiful smiles and improve oral health.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive orthodontic evaluations, including medical history review and patient assessment

- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals

- Perform orthodontic procedures such as braces, aligners, retainers, and other appliances

- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed

- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all treatments provided

- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthodontic techniques and technologies

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school

- Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program

- Valid state dental license to practice as an Orthodontist

- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and interpretation

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance in dental practice

- Experience working with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software

- Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and record keeping

- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients about treatment options and procedures

- Proficient in medical terminology related to orthodontics

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,300.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No nights
• No weekends
