Generac Power Systems is Hiring a Generator Technician Near Bossier, LA
- Service/repair generators, change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, check spark plugs, etc.
- Perform on-site planned maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting for customers' generators (including DC & AC Voltage equipment)
- Work independently with a work vehicle servicing residential and commercial standby generators.
- Driving repair van
- Stocking van with materials daily
- Supply house runs
- Service greater Los Angeles area
- Involves 6-7 appointments per day
- Mechanical knowledge
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required)
- Relevant work experience (preferred: at least 1 year working on cars, small engines, or generators)
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and service manual
- High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to lift to 100 lbs. frequently
