We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Assistant. As an Inventory Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient operations within our organization. Responsibilities:

• Assist in receiving, storing, and distributing inventory materials.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions using inventory management software.
• Assist in identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend appropriate actions.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and reorder supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to optimize inventory processes and minimize stockouts.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining storage areas to ensure efficient use of space and easy access to inventory items.
• Perform periodic audits to ensure compliance with inventory management policies and procedures.
• Provide support during inventory audits and assist in resolving any discrepancies.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and participate in implementing solutions.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in inventory management or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy inventory items.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations accurately.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
