Job Summary:

• Daily bank reconciliations
• Daily Positions Report
• Importing billing and collection data into QuickBooks
• Monitoring AR Cash Collections Reconciliation done by the Accounts Payable Associate
• Weekly review of inventory for negative quantities
• Bi-weekly payroll entry
• Monthly PTO and payroll accruals
• Monthly overhead allocation entry
• Account Analysis
• Preparation of adjusting journal entries
• Monthly close checklist attendance
• Assistance with audits
• Other duties as assigned

• Proficient with QuickBooks (desktop), and MS Office products
• Familiar with payroll entries
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be self-directed and able to work independently, while also working well with others
• High attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communications skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 5 or more years accounting experience - fire safety service or other similar industry experience a plus
• Experience with inventory management, costing and valuation and cost of goods sold

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
