Genacross Lutheran Services- Wolf Creek Campus has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Tech for our Independent Living Facility. This position is responsible for maintaining the building and responding to work orders in order to provide a safe environment for the residents and staff. This position may be assigned additional duties and responsibilities, as determined by the Director of Environmental Services.

Responsibilies:

• Perform routine maintenance repair for the facility and equipment.
• Receive and complete all work orders in a timely manner.
• Complete plumbing, electrical, plastering, carpentry, mechanical, painting, etc. projects as directed.
• Move furniture, refurbish rooms, patch and paint walls and strip floors.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures in order to comply with state regulations.
• Complete any observed and/or reported safety violations.
• Checking and programing TV’s for the residents.
• Be on-call every 3rd week. 

 Qualifications: 

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have 1-2 years of maintenance experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to be part of an on-call rotation.
