Gen 5 Fertility Center is Hiring a Financial Coordinator Near San Diego, CA

Gen 5 Fertility is a world-class fertility center located in beautiful San Diego. It is directed by the leading fertility specialists in the field and where the most competent staff, state-of-the-art equipment and the individualized protocols come together to deliver a level of care and a patient experience like no other center.

Our team is looking for a Patient Financial Coordinator to join our group of experienced patient care specialists.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work as a key member in our front desk team on all aspects of patient financial care, including financial counseling, insurance eligibility and benefits coordination, review of process/options, scheduling, documentation, patient education and other associated tasks
  • Provide financial counseling to patients on various procedures to be rendered.
  • Responsible for collection from patients counters on all procedures inclusive of the all procedures to all parties.
  • Collect cycle deposits in a timely manner. Collect deposit payments from the responsible parties before any procedural services to be rendered to the third parties.
  • Update with the payment information.
  • Communicate with the coordinators regarding payment status on all patients.
  • Check schedule for cycle starts in order to be available to collect the deposit
  • Assist and interact with patients in person, by phone, via email and via EMR system
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality patient experience
  • Utilize cloud-based EMR system to ensure patient records are up-to-date and secure
  • Provide support to the team with other administrative tasks as necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Patient financial counseling experience (Required)
  • Health Insurance verification and billing (Preferred)
  • Excellent work ethic and accountability (Required)
  • Patient Care: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Administrative Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Ability to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
  • Proficient on Artison
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
