Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to oversee our roofing operations. The Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the production team, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate production activities to meet production targets and deadlines
- Order materials from building plans or Eagleview measurements
- Crew management and scheduling
- Pre-Construction meetings and planning
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality control
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production output and reduce costs
- Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and leadership, to ensure smooth production flow
- Order materials as needed
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Production Manager in residential and commercial roofing
- Strong knowledge of both residential and commercial roofing systems
- Strong knowledge of general construction trades
- Proficiency in operating power tools, forklifts, and other equipment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in using hand tools
- Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
