• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school and 5 years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to read, understand, and make an accurate classification determination for any document or material produced by any organization at Y-12.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to handle issues and concerns directly related to key management systems at the plant level, and capable of assisting in the development of long-term strategies for information security operations and classification decisions at the CNS Y-12 NSC.

• Function as public release authority for documents and material, some of which will include highly technical information or involve patents for new technologies, and the like.
• Help field DC/RO’s with reviews by helping them find the right guidance and ensure that every aspect of a document is considered and properly vetted against the applicable guidance.

• To be considered, you must have an active or very recently active DOE “Q” Clearance or DoD “Top Secret” Clearance.
• Due to the nature of the work, a U.S. Citizenship is required.

The NNSA's Y-12 National Security Complex, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is the nation’s only source of enriched uranium nuclear weapon components and provides enriched uranium for the U.S. Navy as well as excels in materials science, precision manufacturing, and stores enriched uranium.
