Geller Properties is Hiring a Property Manager Near Westminster, MD

Property Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that all rents are collected when due. Ensure that all bank deposits are completed daily. Communicate effetely with Geller Properties Corporate Office and Regional Manager daily. Complete new hire paperwork and submit employee payroll weekly.
  • Prepares monthly reports, prepare collection notices for delinquent accounts and preform evictions.
  • Constant vendor/contractor communications concerning work scheduling, billings, vendor relations and certificates of insurance. The property manager is responsible for approving and submitting all invoices to main office weekly.
  • Ensures that active files are kept organized. Reviews and approves all leases on the property, ensures that lease renewals are completed.
  • Responsible for office opening on schedule, cleanliness of office.
  • Maintains records on all aspects of management activity on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Maintain a positive customer service attitude and able to work under pressure at times. Ability to delegate effectively to staff and able to prioritize service calls.
  • Physically walk and inspect community on a regular basis. Preform move out and move in inspections of vacant apartment homes.
  • Updates board indicating vacancy status on a daily basis. Coordinates with maintenance and make-ready staff to ensure timely condition of apartments after move-out.
  • Work closely with Maintenance to monitor and schedule all maintenance activity while heavy focus on prioritizing emergencies.
  • STRONG in multi-tasking
  • MUST have knowledge with Section 8 vouchers and the process.
  • Welcome and show community to prospective new residents. Handle incoming phone calls from prospective new residents and complete appropriate paperwork.

Candidate is required to conduct all business in accordance with Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other Federal and State laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,000.00 - $39,000.00 per year
