Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in our kitchen and dining areas. Responsibilities:

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients

- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality of meals

- Serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner

- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas

- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify supervisor when items need to be restocked

- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of dining areas

- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations

- Collaborate with the dietary department to meet the nutritional needs of residents

- Provide assistance to residents as needed during meal times

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred

- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques is a plus

- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
