Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Software Product Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the future of smart home technology, focusing on our Smart Home connected Software through the Cync app (iOS /Android). This individual will report to the Senior Product Manager of Software and work closely with cross-functional teamsto drive product development from conception to launch. You will build products, features, and applications from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand the retailer’s and consumer’s problems and find innovative solutions for the market. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with your engineering counterparts to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.

Key Responsibilities:
Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, ensuring the product aligns with customer needs and market trends.
Managing the product backlog, creating requirements documents, and defining development user stories.
Collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to define product vision and roadmap.
Work directly with design teams to ensure product aesthetics and user experience align with market needs and brand standards.
Work closely with development teams to ensure product features are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategies.
Analyze customer feedback and usage metrics to refine product features and functionalities.
Act as a point of contact for all product-related queries and communication.
Be the voice of the end user, owning product concept and specification development that drive value and serve needs/use-cases.
Participate in various trade shows and events
