Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

GE Energy Management Services LLC seeks a Senior Services Engineer (multiple positions) to integrate ADMS software application solutions for our customers, perform assigned system integration and testing tasks under general supervision. Own a subset of a project and be responsible for integrating, configuring, and testing this piece of the project, which contributes to the overall solution. Complete project and system documentation and ensure assigned internal testing is completed. Responsible for documentation on all tasks and development work assigned. Under general supervision, work to identify system problems and failures. Pursue solutions to system problems by researching issue and obtaining support from both internal and external resources. Work with other internal delivery teams to obtain fixes on a timely basis to support maintaining the project schedule. Assist with tracking resolutions to issues and creates detailed documentation of solutions implemented and troubleshooting guides. Work directly with the customer providing workshops and training for the customer or resolving technical or business issues that may develop. Provide input to technical lead on progress as related to project schedules, scope changes and cost estimates. Perform complex custom software development tasks. Ensure that the system developed and delivered to the customer is of high quality and meets all technical requirements of the contract. Provide limited marketing support for proposals and demonstrations to potential customers. Train/mentor interns and junior staff as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Position requires Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or STEM Major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) 3 years of experience in a related occupation. In the alternative, position requires Master’s Degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science 2 years of experience in related occupation.

The position also requires 2 years of experience in software analysis, design, methodology, implementation, and architecture; 1 year of experience with Windows and/or Unix, Source Code Management, and IT administration; 1 year of experience integrating outage management systems (OMS); and 1 year of experience leading factory acceptance testing of DMS/OMS, SCADA, or EMS systems. 100% remote role. Telecommuting is permitted for this role. When not telecommuting, must report into offices at 19015 North Creek Parkway, Bothell, WA 98011.

The salary range for this position is $127,400 - $129,700. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience and their education.
