Job Description: QA Tech

Location: El Paso, TX, 79906

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Tech to join our team. The QA Tech will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards before they are released to the market.

Responsibilities:

• Proficient in the use of Inspection tools such as caliper, micrometer, height gage, optical comparator, pin and thread gages.
• Ability to determine if components meet specifications according to a 2D drawing.
• Ability to run programmed components and follow documented procedures using the CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine)
• Able to make manual measurement using the CMM, such as hole locations and flatness.
• Accept help and can learn from Senior Quality Technicians and engineering.
• Document inspection results using FMP (receiving inspection reports, FA reports, NCMR)
• Post accepted components into inventory using Mass 500.
• Maintain proper part count for inventory control.
• Basic knowledge of products and production processes
• Follows Inspection Processes and procedures.
• Understands all aspects of GCX quality guidelines and expectations.
• Represent Quality Assurance during VOC inspection of finished goods.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a quality control role
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Written and verbal English)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with quality control software a plus
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.)
• Basic Math Skills
• Hand/Eye Coordination
• Analytic Skills
