Position: Sr. Tax Accountant
Job Duties:
Analyzes and advises regarding tax implications of cross-border transactions for our clients. Prepares forms 1040, 1040NR, FBAR, 1120, 1120S, 1120F, 1065, and 5471 tax returns and schedules. Represents taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service in cases involving audits and collection matters. Serves as the lead point of contact for our portfolio of clients from Latin America (LATAM). Develops and maintains strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor. Process incoming paperwork such as bank statements and client documentation. Coordinates tax process workflow. Manages client relationships. Ensures clients comply with federal, state, and local tax requirements.
Requirements: master’s degree in accounting or business administration with a concentration in accounting from a US college and Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (EA) Certification. Fluent in Spanish. Send resume to: careers@gbsgroup.net GBS Group, INC.
