GBC FOODS is Hiring a Customer Service Associate Near Tarpon Springs, FL

Greek Boys Choice Foods is looking for a highly motivated Customer Service Associate to join our team. The responsibility of the Customer Service Associate is to ensure excellent customer support and satisfaction and play a crucial role in maintaining a positive customer experience.

This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

Job duties and responsibilities (this is not all inclusive list)

  • Take customer orders through phone calls, emails, and or text.
  • Create sales orders and invoices.
  • Scanning and filing paperwork.
  • Inform customers on outages/substitutions, new products, and specials.
  • Providing accurate and relevant information about products, services.
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer complaints or issues.
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to address customer inquiries
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to relay customer feedback and insights.
  • Participating in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge.
  • Cover the market area when needed.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Empathy and patience in dealing with customer concerns and resolving issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address customer inquiries and troubleshoot problems.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent Computer skills
  • Inventory system knowledge (Fishbowl preferred)
  • Multitasking abilities to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
  • Adaptability to changing processes, products, and technologies.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4Yrs Prior Customer Service Associate experience Required (specializing in order processing)

Physical Requirements:

  • Repetitive hand and arm movements, repetitive grasping, lifting, bending, and reaching.
  • Exposure to office environments
  • Sitting most of the 8hr shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
