Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has experience with QuickBooks, bank reconciliation, technical accounting, and is knowledgeable in GAAP principles.

Duties:
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling and analyzing balance sheet accounts
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy
- Utilize 10-key typing skills to enter financial data accurately
- Collaborate with the team to improve accounting processes and procedures

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using QuickBooks
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Experience in public accounting is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports
- Strong understanding of debits and credits
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting
