Job Description
An established and highly successful client public accounting firm is looking for a full-time Senior Tax Manager in Atlanta, GA. This company has been in business for over 40 years and has been ranked as one of Atlanta's top 15 Accounting firms and one of the largest accounting firms in the U.S. Their industry niches include manufacturing, real estate, construction, technology, transportation, financial services and staffing and professional service firms.
The Senior Tax Manager will report to the Tax Director and will be responsible for preparation and review of all complex tax returns.
Requirements
The senior tax associate is responsible for:

• performing tax reviews and examinations as deemed by supervising managers
• preparing federal, state and local income tax returns
• building and maintaining client relationships
• ensuring all income tax returns are prepared timely and accurately
• assisting the Business Assurance (Audit) Department with larger clients

The minimum requirements for this position are as follows:

• 4-7 years experience preparing corporate, partnership, individual and fiduciary tax returns in a public accounting firm
• Minimum of 1 year experience supervising work of tax preparers
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required - Master's degree in Taxation preferred
• CPA license highly preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and other tax firm software
• Client-service oriented
