- A Maintenance Technician is an essential part of the team to keep our facilities operating successfully. Maintenance Techs are responsible for all of the following:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Conducting preventative maintenance and safety checks
- Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns
- Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, and other production related equipment.
- Fabricating parts for repair and machine upgrades
- Installing new equipment
- Communicating with production team and maintain a clean work area
- Preparing and submitting maintenance reports
- Shifts available:
- 6 p.m. - 6 a.m. Rotating 12-hour shift. two on two off, three on - two off, two on, three off.
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience required
- Experience troubleshooting and repair or installation of industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems required
- Ability to use programmable logic controller systems (primarily Allen Bradley) such as RSLogix.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints
- Experience with electrical and hydraulic test equipment
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work overtime
- Be self-directed as well as have the ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Must have regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. The employee must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime before & after regular hours & shifts, as well as on weekends.
- Comply with all safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction
- Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship
