Job Title : QC Pre-Pour

Department : Quality Control

Reports to : QC Manager

Job Summary :

Check all molds prior to concrete being placed to ensure that all dimensions of molds are within tolerance, that all required plates, electrical boxes, and details are in proper location and are of proper sizes.

Catch any pre-pour defects in the molds prior to the panel being cast. Once concrete is in place, Check all hardware in rear face as It is inserted ensure that all rear face details and electrical is located correctly.

Duties / Responsibilities :

1. Check all dimensional aspects of the molds to ensure that they are within tolerance, as a carpenter crews complete molds.

2. Check all special details of molds for correct placement and for correct size.

3. Check all hardware that is required in the front face of panels.

4. Check all rear face hardware and details as they are inserted after concrete.

5. Make all prints for daily production each morning.

6. Assist with checking concrete as directed by quality manager.

7. Assist inserters to make sure that all hardware is installed correctly.

8. Assist in the building of molds as requested from carpenter supervisor (print interpretation)

Required Skills / Abilities :

• Ability to analyze heavy equipment malfunctions and apply
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehicles and follow safety instructions and directions.
• Proficiency with hand tools and other equipment.
• Excellent active listening, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethic.

Education and Experience :

• ACI / PCI Level 1 and 2 required
• Blueprint reading experience required
• High School education preferred but not required.
• Basic Team skills
• Ability to follow complex instructions.
• Basic Planning / Organization Skills.

Physical Requirements :

reach with hands and arms; climb or balance on elevated surfaces; and stoop, kneel, squat, crouch or crawl. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The employee must be able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Constant and continual medium to heavy manual, physical labor is required for this position.

Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as work boots, hard hats, work gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

This is an indoor / outdoor work environment : Exposure to sun, heat, humidity, cold, wind, light rain, sand, and dust.
