Performs the duties of the store manager in their absence. Addresses and resolves adverse situations including disgruntled customers or employees, drive-offs, no-fault product policies, invalid credit cards, and broken or malfunctioning equipment. Collaborates with the Store Manager and Team Leader to control store operations and inventory. Assists customers with finding products and provides customers with product information. Stocks the coolers and shelves. Ensures a high level of cleanliness and organization at the store. Performs minor maintenance and repairs on store equipment. Operates register to process cash and credit card payments. REQUIREMENTS Must be a minimum of 18 years old (to support the sales of alcohol and tobacco products)Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background checkMust be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysMust have a valid driver’s licenseMust have the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with customers and team membersMust be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 poundsMust be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach (including overhead) JOB KNOWLEDGE: Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
