Gastro Health is seeking a Full-Time Referral Coordinator to join our team!

Duties you will be responsible for:

• This position will support our Referral Department .
• processing incoming patient referrals on a daily basis from multiple sources.
• This job requires someone who can prioritize, multitask, and who pays great attention to detail.
• Also, the candidate will enter demographic and insurance information as they reach out to patients to schedule them for appointments.
• The Referral Coordinator is also responsible for knowledge of insurance coverages, documentation of authorizations.
• This position also requires the knowledge of scheduling procedures, ancillary testing, and office appointments.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 years experience in a Medical Office preferred
• Medical terminology knowledge required
