Gastro Health is Hiring an IT Systems Administrator Near Seattle, WA

The Systems Administrator will provide technical assistance and support for Gastro Health users, or other affiliates; as it relates to using Gastro Health owned or managed equipment, software, or other technical tools used to perform their job duties and/or to interact with Gastro Health personnel.
Here are some of the duties you will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade software, hardware, and peripherals (includes network cards, printers, modems, KVM, disk drives, audio cards, memory, motherboard, and all other related equipment)
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
  • Work closely with departmental managers to determine current and future IT needs
  • Investigate, recommend, and install enhancements and operation procedures that optimize system availability and performance
  • Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions
  • Research and recommend hardware, software, and supporting technologies for purchase

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, a closely related field, or equivalent experience; Master’s Degree in an Information Systems related area preferred
  • Strong knowledge of software related to centralized endpoint management, software patching, software deployment, etc.
  • 2-5 years of system administration experience
  • Working knowledge of virtualization i.e. VMWare or equivalent
  • Expert Level – Office 365 Administration, Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Microsoft Server Administration, Domain Management
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools, i.e. PowerShell, Task Schedulers
  • System administration related IT certifications, i.e. Microsoft SCCM, Server , MCSE
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
  • Flexible hours (Afterhours/Weekend work is common and required)
  • Travel up to 50% of the time
