Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support to animals in a professional and compassionate manner
- Perform animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both animals and staff
- Assist with dog care duties, including training, cleaning, feeding, bathing, and providing exercise
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Assist dog playtimes once trained on procedures
- Assist with dog training sessions, utilizing positive reinforcement techniques once experienced and trained
- Paid opportunities to learn Pet CPR and first aid
Qualifications:
- No previous experience necessary, we will train
- Strong willingness to follow protocols
- Open to learn new concepts in animal behavior management
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments confidently and safely
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
