WHAT WE WILL ASK YOU TO DO:

  • Assemble parts at assigned work stations according to work instructions, training, and visual aids.
  • Rotate to all jobs within the department per training and as assigned.
  • Meet quality and productivity objectives.
  • Operate small machines such as electric, pneumatic, and hand presses.
  • Adhere to quality and safety systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in other departments as needed

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

Required

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good hand dexterity for handling small components.
  • Ability to use both hands for repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.
  • Good close-up vision (with or without correction).
  • Ability to read written work instructions and visual aids including drawings, photographs, sample parts, etc.
  • Ability to comprehend spoken instructions from supervisor or lead.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Willing to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Preferred

  • Proficiency in English reading, speaking, and comprehension.
  • Manufacturing experience, particularly in an assembly line environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THIS POSITION:

  • Climate controlled work environment.
  • Significant time spent sitting or standing at assembly line station.
  • Occasional bending and reaching.
  • Need to be able to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodation.
