WHAT WE WILL ASK YOU TO DO:

• Assemble electronic and mechanical sub-assemblies working from prints, written procedures, and verbal instruction.
• Perform tests to detect and diagnose malfunctioning devices.
• Maintain production standard rates while meeting required quality expectations.
• Adhere to quality and safety systems.
• Communicate well with co-workers.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.
• Perform packaging procedures to prepare parts for shipment.
• Perform inspection of products and documents results.
• Analyze processes and provide solutions to problems.
• Complete and maintain paperwork required.
• Assist in other work areas as needed.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Good hand dexterity for handling small components.
• Ability to read written work instructions and visual aids including drawings, photographs, sample parts, etc.
• Ability to comprehend spoken instructions from supervisor or lead.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to visually inspect small parts to ensure product is made to specifications. Should have 20/20 vision with or without correction.
• Experience in a manufacturing or manual assembly environment a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THIS POSITION:

• Climate controlled work environment.
• Use of hand tools, power tools or special equipment.
• May be required to work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours.
• Need to be able to lift up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation.
• Overtime occasionally required on employee’s day(s) off.
