Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Parts Consultant to join our team at Garlyn Shelton Buick GMC in Temple, Texas. The role of the Parts Consultant is to assist customers and technicians in finding and ordering the right parts for their vehicles. This individual will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, providing exceptional customer service, and maximizing sales and profitability.

The Parts Consultant position at Garlyn Shelton Buick GMC offers a competitive salary range of $40000 to $75000 per year, paid biweekly. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate parts or accessories
- Accurately process parts orders and payments
- Maintain and organize inventory of parts and accessories
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of parts to technicians and customers
- Utilize computer systems and resources to research parts and inventory availability
- Provide excellent customer service, including addressing and resolving customer concerns or complaints
- Monitor and track parts sales and inventory levels to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with other departments to promote and support sales and services
- Keep up-to-date with new and existing products and parts to provide customers with accurate information
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in automotive parts sales or customer service preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer systems and resources
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately process orders and payments
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings if required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
