Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Somali and English speaking Scheduler to join our team. As a Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing appointments for our medical or dental office. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical administrative support and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar

- Coordinate with medical or dental staff to ensure efficient scheduling

- Verify patient insurance information and update patient records

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a positive experience

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations

- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in medical scheduling, dental receptionist, or similar role preferred

- Proficient in using scheduling software such as Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, or Dentrix

- Strong knowledge of medical or dental office procedures and terminology

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $20.74 - $23.65 per hour
