Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill three (3) Mental Health Specialist or Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist positions. Placement into the the appropriate position and salary is determined based on qualifications. These are full-time, 40 hour/week positions in the Adult/Older Adult Intensive Outpatient Program in Gardner's Behavioral Health Department. The positions are based out of the Corporate Offices located at 160 E Virginia St, San Jose, CA 95112.Under supervision of Program Manager, the MHS/MHRS will provide assessments and related psycho-social services to children, adolescents and their families. The Adult/Older Adult Intensive Outpatient Program provides men and women involved with the criminal justice system with intensive treatment and support services to enable them to function successfully within their community. Clients attend 90-day court-mandated treatment programs.

Gardner Health Services is now offering hiring bonuses for qualified Mental Health Specialists and Mental Health Therapists! Mental Health Specialist with a Bachelor's Degree will receive a $5,000bonus and Mental Health Therapist's with a Master's Degree will receive a $7,500 bonus.

Minimum Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications of this position is listed below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
MHS- BA degree and at least three (3) years of experience and/or AA degree plus five (5) years of relevant experience.
MHRS- BA degree plus four (4) years relevant experience and/or AA degree plus six (6) years' experience and obtain a mental health rehabilitation specialist counselor certification from the County of Santa Clara.

Compensation:
Compensation and level of position placement will be determined based on relevant experience and education.
MHS/MHRS: $64,917.08 - $75,256.69/Annually
