Responsibilities – Service Advisor:
Schedule appointments for service/maintenance/recall work
Greet customers and inspect their vehicle
Conduct all business with sincerity, honesty, and genuine concern for customer
Listen to customer’s reason(s) for bringing their vehicle to the service department
Consult with mechanics regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs
Using your knowledge of our products and services to sell or provide in-depth information about available parts and service options to customers
Provide customers with information and advice on warranty protections, potential cost savings and the advantages of trading in versus fixing their car
Follow the status of the customer's vehicle from service bay entry through completion of work
Act as a liaison between customers and our Service Technicians
Upon completion of work, review work order with customer to assure all concerns are addressed
Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications – Service Advisor:
MUST have at least 2 years’ experience as a service consultant in a dealership or independent repair facility
CDK experience is a plus!
Sales or Customer Service experience in any industry is a plus!
A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry
Good customer service and communication skills
Strong organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Works well in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and a positive attitude
Good work ethic and computer skills
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
