Shift: Wednesday 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ; Thursday through Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.(42 hours per week, Full-time)

About the job:
The GSOC is the central hub of information and workflow for the Avnet Corporate Security Program. Each GSOC Analyst is responsible for:

• Compiling intelligence - Incoming from various sources to identify potential risk to the organization.
• Verification of information - To determine the risk factor of any incident within the impact radius of the business.
• Monitoring global events - Identifying potential risk to business operations. This is done through monitoring news, social media, government and other sources.
• Travel Oversight – At the direction of Corporate Security, the GSOC provides travel oversight to all executive and international travel by monitoring flights and preparing threat assessments upon request.
• Making proper notifications - Able to clearly notify corresponding parties based on the impact or expected impact to business operations.
• Guard Force Operations Support - Support all uniformed guard force operations. This includes all sites with guards on duty across the business.
• Fraud investigations – With the oversight of the Director of Corporate Security, The GSOC will respond to fraud or suspected fraud from towards the Sales or Credit team at Avnet. You will initiate an investigation and advise Global Security in addition to the reporting party, based on the results of the investigation.
• GIS OPS support – Responsible for answering routine and emergency calls, monitoring alarms and video equipment including fire alarms, door alarms, and duress alarms and provides general assistance to employees, vendors and guests.

Your background:

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• High Level Computer Skills Required(such as above standard knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite - Excel, Word, Outlook, and navigating file explorer)
• You are able to pass an extensive screening process
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have an ACTIVE Arizona Security License
