This is a prominent, residential, commercial and recreational community in the City of Orlando. Officers assigned to this project supply private public safety services to the residents, tenants, business owners and association communities within the master association. Officers patrol in technically equipped police-style vehicles and perform a myriad of services to the community. GardaWorld officers endeavor to provide a sense of safety and serenity for all who live, visit , work and recreate within this community.

Ideal candidates must be 21 years of age or more with the following experience:

• Ability to obtain or already possess Florida “D” unarmed security officer and “G” armed security officer licenses within 14 days of conditional offer of employment
• Career or termed military service with honorable discharge or sufficient service for retirement
• Former certified or credentialed law enforcement experience – military, federal, state, county, or municipal
• Valid Florida drivers’ license with no citations or moving violations
• Physical ability to walk long distances on varied terrain / run short distances in the event of an emergency situation
• Must provide personally owned firearm – GardaWorld will supply duty gear and armored vest (Level IIA fitted to individual)
• Must be able to operate a laptop computer, MiFi wireless devices, GPS navigation, ability to learn how to operate police style lighting and public address systems
• Must have strong interpersonal skills – bilingual in conversational Spanish is a plus.
