JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Sales / Parts

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or GED and at least two years parts sales or warehouse/inventory control experience
2. Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
3. Coordinate the sale, manufacturing, and delivery of parts and inventory to qualified customers
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Experience operating a forklift
6. Basic understanding of industrial vacuum equipment
7. Strong organizational skills
8. Able to solve problems and think analytically

WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Industrial/commercial warehouse environment
2. Interacts with customers, staff, visitors, government agencies and personnel
3. May be exposed to mild levels of shop dust and hexavalent chromium

BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the VP of Sales, and/or designee, the Parts / Sales person will perform sales and customer service related activities for GapVax, Inc. Parts Express. In addition to customer service, the sales person will perform designated inventory control functions, and shipping related duties for the sales of parts and accessories for industrial vacuum parts and related equipment. The parts salesperson must cooperate with the commercial sales department, purchasing, and fabrication, to deliver parts to Parts Express customers in a timely and efficient manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understands and demonstrates commitment to the mission of GapVax, Inc. and Parts Express through daily communication and service delivered to customers and staff.
Responsible for delivering the correct parts in a timely fashion to all Parts Express customers, properly invoicing customers for parts delivered and coordinating the replenishment of inventory.
File damaged or lost freight claims on sales orders.
