Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team at our Virginia office. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving our firm's growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. You will be at the forefront of our business development efforts, representing our firm in the market.
What you'll be doing:
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients in need of accounting outsourcing services. Develop and implement strategies to attract and secure new business.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Provide insights to inform our business strategies.
  • Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking groups to promote our firm and establish a strong professional network.
  • Sales and Negotiations: Lead negotiations with prospective clients, prepare proposals, and close deals to meet sales targets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to align business development strategies with overall company goals.
What you'll bring:
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development.
  • Prior experience in the finance or accounting industry is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successful client acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Willingness to work from an office setting and travel as needed.
