An experienced Director of Business Development with broad Intelligence Community experience is sought by BlueHalo. The successful candidate will manage the relationship between the customer and the company, and help drive new business within BlueHalo in the Intel market. This involves collaborating with people inside and outside of your organization, and working closely with BlueHalo’s Senior Leadership Team to set and develop the strategic direction of the business. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Building a new business pipeline through the identification of business opportunities that align with strategic priorities and customer missions.
  • Leading the growth activities associated with the pursuit of Intelligence Community business opportunities through the federal acquisition lifecycle.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and industry partners – exercising consultative, strategic and technical skills to further impact the Mission and grow business.
  • Contributing to IC Growth Strategy by making recommendations on strategic captures, IRAD and other investments, and customer engagement.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

  • Minimum 15 years direct experience in Intelligence Community
  • Proven record of pursuing and winning new business opportunities of significant size, complexity of scope.
  • Demonstrated ability to earn trust and respect of key customers including successfully managing difficult/delicate customer conversations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact at executive levels of Government and industry. Robust relationships with relevant IC organizations.
  • BS/BA degree at a four-year college/university
