Journeyman Maintenance/ElectricianGannett Publsihing ServicesPhoenix, AZSPECIFIC DUTIES/ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Perform electrical maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on specified equipment which may include, but are not limited to: CTP Imagers, processors, benders; press controls, printing units, reels, dampening & inking systems; inserting equipment, stackers, strappers, labelers, applicators, bindery equipment, conveyors, motors, pumps, dryers and other ancillary equipment. Potential involvement with the building department infrastructure equipment (site specific).Assist with preventive maintenance on production equipment and monitor preventive maintenance logs. Communicate repair/maintenance issues and provide updates of ongoing projects and preventative maintenance programs to supervisor.Participate in installation of new equipment or updates to existing equipment as requested.Assist supervisors and contract service providers as neededPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Standing, walking, sitting, lifting (50 lbs.), carrying (50 lbs.).Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, speaking, hearing, seeing (with full color vision, and depth perception).SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:Have knowledge in industrial electronics and controls.Troubleshoot automated equipmentEffectively able to read blueprints and schematics.Maintain knowledge in the NFPA National Electrical Code.Good communication skills.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • High school diploma or GED, trade school and/or completed apprenticeship (Journeyman certification is a plus).• Must be available to work any shift (days, swings, or nights - including Saturdays and Sundays).GAN.gps
