Contingent

We are currently seeking a DevSecOps Platform Engineer - III in support of Army Futures Command (AFC) Data Platform Division (DPD), contingent upon award. This position is in Austin, TX. The primary focus of this position is working alongside senior Government customers in computer operation duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining automation and orchestration technologies
• Responsible for creating and configuring flexible solutions for other development, delivery, security, and operations teams
• Ensure quality standards on all deliverables

Qualities

• Experience with deployment and maintenance of upstream Kubernetes and at least one (1) of a commercially supported managed Kubernetes distributions
• Experience serving as an engineer on an Agile, end user-centric, software or platform projectExperience bridging the gap between legacy development or operations teams and working toward a shared culture and vision of modern digital delivery
• Experience assessing, deploying, and managing infrastructure management tools including infrastructure optimization and orchestration solutions
• Experience in Agile and DevSecOps (DevOps) practices designing and delivering capabilities, while articulating and implementing a balanced approach to security and agility
• Experience designing, building, and optimizing cloud services, while considering the limitations imposed by practicality and compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other Scientific/Technical discipline
• Hold at least one of the following certifications:
  • CASP CE
  • CCNP Security
  • CISA
  • CISSP (or Associate)
  • GCED
  • GCIH
  • CCSP
• Azure Administrator Associate certification
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Software and Computer Engineering including a minimum of five (5) years of related DevSecOps engineer work experience
• Active Secret Clearance
