We're seeking self-motivated individuals to act as Game Coaches, driving our video game trailers to private parties and events across Portland. The majority of our business revolves around weekend birthday parties.

Never pulled a trailer or not a gaming expert? No worries – we'll train you. What we can't train is genuine care. If you share our values, we'll teach you the rest.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Drive the GameTruck mobile game theater (truck and trailer / 65 feet long) to event locations.
• Facilitate fun video game private events and interact with guests, mainly kids.
• Maintain the appearance of the trailer, vehicle, and equipment.
• Present the professional image our customers expect from GameTruck.

A Standard Day

A typical day involves arriving at the equipment depot/office, inspecting and checking out your equipment. You then drive to the events following a pre-planned route. At the event, you run the party, manage the equipment, interact with gamers, and collect payment. After the day's events, you return to the depot for inspection and check-in.

Successful Applicants

• Enjoy working with kids and have an outgoing personality.
• Can work weekends and evenings on a flexible schedule.
• Able to manage chaotic situations with calm enthusiasm.
• Possess general knowledge of video gaming, consoles, and audio/video equipment.
• Able to meet deadlines, be punctual, and maintain a professional image.

PLEASE NOTE: Selected candidates will undergo a driving record and criminal background check. A clean driving record is required. Upon passing the checks, new employees will attend complete training.

Must be available Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Hourly Wage Event TIPS quarterly performance-based bonuses.
