Position Summary:

The Event Rental Associate will be responsible for managing certain house accounts as well as assisting the Event Director & Sales Manager with accounts. Some days will be spent in the office and some will be spent offsite, attending site visits or overseeing event set-up/teardown. This person needs to be a skilled communicator, and someone who thrives in our exciting and fast paced work environment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Create and update orders for house accounts

• Recommend and rent equipment to customers

• Work with clients to design, maintain, and update themed decor

• Schedule and attend site visits

• Be on-site contact for events, depending on the job

• Lead other staff members on various office projects; sorting, organizing, etc

• Assist with set-up and teardown of events, depending on the job

• Greet and assist all clients and employees; phone, email, or in person

• Attend weekly office meetings

• Attend industry events & meetings

• Fill in for other positions as necessary, for smooth operation of the business

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Flexible schedule, to accommodate clients needs & requests

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to re-prioritize tasks as needed

• Ability to use math to solve problems

• Must be able to read & write in English

• Computer literate, preferably with both PC & Mac

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs

• Must pass company drug screen

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Minimum 2 years in the event and/or sales industry
