Description:
The Store Technology team at GameStop is looking for a Software Engineer to play a key role in contributing to ongoing retail software development.
Responsibilities:

• Design and build software within our store technology platform, working across scalable front end, middle tier, and back end services
• Work on an agile engineering team writing maintainable and scalable code for software components and influencing team decisions
• Review code and provide meaningful feedback to peers to help build better solutions
• Drive continuous improvement of software quality, engineering best practices, and maintainability of products/features
• Exhibit a bias for action, constantly looking for ways to improve performance and customer experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical field of study
• 4 years of professional software development experience
• Programming experience with modern languages, e.g. Python, Java, C , or C# including object-oriented design
• Eagerness to solve complex technical problems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Desire to work in a fast-paced and highly productive environment
