Part time Day Shift 7a.m.-7p.m. every other weekend.
Per Diem Day Shift 7a.m.-7p.m. and 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. (including weekends and some holidays).
Starting Pay Rate: $30- $35.50 based on experience
Weekend Shift Differential: $3.50
Required skills and qualifications:
1. RN currently licensed by the State of Alabama.
2. At least 6 months nursing experience. Geriatric involvement preferable.
Your responsibilities:
1. Administers medications.
2. Administers treatments, including, but not limited to: dressings, catherization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
3. Assists in direct resident care, as necessary.
4. Maintains accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered.
5. Assists in admission and discharge procedures.
6. Responds to resident emergency call system as indicated.
7. Makes rounds with physicians and transcribes orders.
8. Keeps physician and family aware of change in resident’s condition.
9. Maintains the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient.
10. Assures continuity of services and care.
11. Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
12. Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
