Overview:

We are seeking a kind and motivated individual to join our team as a Perennials Co-Lead. This role involves overseeing the operations and leading a team in the perennials department.
*This role has a set schedule of Mon-Fri. Hours range from 7a-4:30p or 8a-5:30p with some flexibility. Monday and Friday are check-in/check-out between Lead and Co-Lead.

Duties:

- Receive delegation and collaborate with the Perennial's Lead to achieve department goals

-Supervise and coordinate the activities of the perennials department
- Assist in managing inventory
- Ensure pricing accuracy
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their perennial selections

Requirements:

- Prior experience in retail, preferred
- Strong supervisory skills to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Ability to lead with kindness, compassion and/or empathy
- Excellent customer service skills to address customer inquiries and concerns
- Perennial plant knowledge for zones 3 & 4, experience a major advantage
