A Little Journey Montessori School is looking for someone who is consistent and reliable, loves working with others and young children, adaptable and flexible to changing circumstances and environment. This is an amazing opportunity for those interested in a career in Montessori and/or early childhood teaching and education.
We are looking for a full time wonderful, loving, caring teacher for our 2's classroom (toddler) to join our team as a co-lead.
We are looking for a full time wonderful, loving, caring teacher for our 2's classroom (toddler) to join our team as a co-lead.
We are looking to hire a qualified teacher for this licensed childcare facility. Montessori experience is preferred, but not required. The position could start as soon as possible.
We are open 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday and are a year round program. A work schedule would vary within these hours with 30 minutes on either end for opening or closing chores.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A passion for working with young children.
- Great at working as a team and with others.
- Ability to work with a Co-Lead.
- A friendly nature, patience and love for children.
- Good organization and communication skills.
- Experience caring for children is preferred, but not required.
- Leadership qualities working under a Director and managing assistant teachers.
- Bachelor's Degree.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hands-on infant, Child, Adult CPR/First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Must pass criminal a background check for state licensing requirements.
- Verification of Immunizations (MMR and tDap).
- Training courses for state licensing requirements within 30 and 90 days of hire.
- We will help you understand all of these requirements if hired.
SALARY:
- Pay is DOE starting at $18.00/hour
BENEFITS:
- Option for Health Insurance after 90 days for full time employees.
- Paid time off after 1 year of employment for full time employees.
