Gallagher Evelius & Jones is seeking a Transactional Paralegal to join its Renewable Energy Practice Group. The Paralegal will work closely with attorneys and provide full-lifecycle deal support to clients in the renewable energy financing space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review title and survey and work with title companies and surveyors to resolve issues.
• Review Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) search results and prepare UCC filings as well as draft and review corporate state filings.
• Work in conjunction with attorneys to close complex financial transactions.
• Draft closing documents and basic loan documents and submit for attorney approval.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with title and survey, specifically reviewing and analyzing complex commercial properties (title experience with industrial and/or agricultural properties is a plus).
• Knowledge of available endorsements to and requirements to obtain such endorsements.
• Prior experience working with title companies and surveyors to resolve issues.
• Prior experience reviewing UCC search results and preparing UCC filings.
• Prior experience working on closings of financial transactions, in particular working on closings of complex financing transactions is desirable.
• Prior experience drafting closing documents and basic loan documents under attorney supervision is desirable.
• Knowledge of basic corporate/LLC state filings and experience reviewing and drafting such filings.
