Job Summary:

If you answered yes to these questions, then you might be the perfect fit for our Exhibitor Sales Coordinator position.

This position is on-site in our Fort Lauderdale offices, this is not a remote position.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Connect with current and potential vendors daily via email, instant message, and phone calls to maintain relationships and provide support.
• Assist in selling booth space for all live events, ensuring a full and vibrant marketplace.
• Serve as a secondary contact for exhibitors, helping to address questions or concerns promptly.
• Conduct spot checks of vendor booth placements for live shows to ensure compliance with floor plans.
• Support the preparation and distribution of exhibitor kits and information packets.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Exhibitor Manager.

Live Show Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation, organization, and dissemination of exhibitor badges to vendors for each live show.
• Support the check-in of all exhibitors during load-in and provide assistance to vendors during load-out.
• Coordinate with volunteers who provide assistance to exhibitors, ensuring they are well-informed and effective.
• Aid in ensuring exhibitor needs are met during the event, from setup to breakdown, including on-site logistics and coordination of special events like the After Dark market.
• Facilitate the rebooking process for exhibitors for future events.
• Carry out additional job duties as required during live events.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in a support role for exhibitor services or event management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software.
• A passion for comic books, pop culture, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, gaming, cosplay, and more
• Ability to travel to GalaxyCon events, which will require working on weekends and holidays
