Team or Function Overview The Maintenance Manager plays a fundamental role in preventing costly downtimes and ensuring that the manufacturing process delivers high-quality products. Summary The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for providing direction, coordination and support for the daily execution of the maintenance department’s operating plan with the primary objective of maintaining the Plant’s equipment and facilities. Essential Duties Ensures compliance with all industry and company standard safety practices.Conducts safety inspections of work practices & work areas. Facilitates training to identify, prevent, and correct unsafe conditions and practices. Support and facilitate the continued development of the Job Safety Analysis, Standard Operating Procedure and Lockout/Tagout databases Supervises all assigned maintenance personnel in the execution of their daily work to ensure the production line achieves objectives. Selects and coordinates appropriate training materials and sessions to develop the skill level of maintenance personnel. Support the facility’s 3-year Capital plan and ensure maintainability is designed into capital projects. Identify and execute capital projects aimed at the improvement of maintenance-related activities. Establishes and administers preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations. Track, analyze and improve maintenance KPIs. Manage the down day planning, prioritization, and execution process by partnering with direct reports in the maintenance dept as well as partnering with Production and Process Engineering. Manage the Plant’s annual shutdown planning and execution. Utilize critical path analysis & deploy resources accordingly to ensure compliance with the asset availability schedule. Implements strategies and processes to maximize asset availability and utilization by optimizing planned maintenance intervals. Develop & maintain the plant’s Maintenance budget and forecast. Oversee the plant’s storeroom inventory and spare parts processes, assuring critical spares are identified and strategies are in place for critical spares access. Under This Roof, We Require High School Diploma or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred 10 years work experience in Manufacturing Under This Roof, We Also Value Professional engineering license is preferred Knowledge of a CMMS software (Maximo preferable) preferred Knowledge of engineering fundamentals including machine design, rotating equipment, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, bearings, and lubrication.
