Gades Sales Company is growing its sales team! We are seeking a Technical Outside Sales/ Service Support Representative to join our team!
Locations:
1- Castle Rock, CO. with permanent residence located in zip code 80104, 80108, or 80109 - Remote Office
You will be a key person for the company and work directly for the sales manager. You will be the main boots on the ground for the company and will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue, promote our vendors products to Federal and State agencies, local municipalities, ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) contractors, and consultants.
Qualifications are:
High School Diploma or GED equivalency
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Possess excellent written and oral communications skills.
Possess experience with Microsoft Office products.
Possess sales experience or demonstrated ability to learn Traffic Signal and ITS sales.
Duties and Responsibilities to thrive in this role as a Technical Sales / Customer Service Support. This is a REMOTE OFFICE (“Position”) which involves possessing experience in traffic signal and ITS installations, sales, and ongoing support for the operation of traffic signals, streetlights, and ITS equipment. As an Outside Technical Sales Representative there are several duties and responsibilities, which must be performed. This position requires that you will need to perform managerial and administrative duties to operate a functional remote office out of your residence located in zip code 80104, 80108, or 80109. These duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
Make daily sales and service calls on various governmental agencies, consulting engineering firms, contractors, etc. to promote Gades Sales Co. Inc. products and to influence specifications. In addition, you will need to work with these various entities to secure orders.
At least three (3) days a work week travel will be required to attend various conferences, trade shows, meetings, contact various governmental agencies, consulting engineering firms, contractors, etc. and training deemed necessary as our representative.
Provide and arrange technical support for customers as needed.
Seek and respond in a timely fashion to bid requests and customer inquiries.
Maintain adequate records as to sales, customer specifications and document your efforts that have been put forth.
Perform any managerial functions as required to successfully operate a satellite/remote/home office of the company and or other duties assigned.

-This position will require travel at least three (3) days a work week to participate in sales events, training, presentations, team interactions, recruitment, meetings with company management, customers, and manufactures.
-The Employee shall be expected to work on a full-time basis with the employee being required to work at least 40 hours in a standard week and answers sales calls as needed.
-Consistently answers all questions concerning a product or service, with appropriate coordination of sales negotiations where required.
-Use technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales.
